Dear TENT Patients:
As you may already be aware, the COVID-19-virus (Coronavirus) has now been considered a
world-wide pandemic as of 3/11/2020. Tuscaloosa ENT is committed, as always, to the highest
standards of patient care and treatment. As medical professionals, we will always take every
precaution to protect the health and safety of our patients.

We are asking for your assistance to help reduce the spread of this virus in our clinic and our
community by also using proper hygiene methods, including:

1. We ask that if you should notice any onset of symptoms such as:
 Unusual shortness of breath
 Recent onset of Cough, Fever and flu-like symptoms or
 Stomach virus symptoms

to please reschedule your scheduled appointment until your symptoms have resolved and/or
your primary care physician has cleared you to be around others.

2. To keep you healthy, we also ask you to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer
before and after your appointments, as well as avoid touching your face to help
further, reduce transmission of this virus.

3. Please review and read our posted informational guidelines from the CDC website
throughout our facility regarding proper handwashing/cleaning and ways to prevent
transmission of this virus.
